Google has extended free Satellite SOS access for Pixel 9 owners by another year, confirming the change to PCMag after its original two-year free period expired. The feature contacts emergency services and shares location over satellite when cellular and Wi-Fi are unavailable. Google has not said whether the service will later require a subscription.
