AI scams trick victims in minutes, Kaspersky finds

Kaspersky research found 64.5% of scam victims globally believe AI tools enabled their fraud experience. In the UK, 54% suspected deepfakes or synthetic voices impersonated trusted contacts. Over half of UK victims paid or shared data within 30 minutes, with 12.2% doing so in under five minutes.
