Mount Royal University in Calgary confirmed hackers stole data from its H drive and wiped the J drive after a June 17 cyberattack. The CMD Organization threat group claimed the attack, demanded a 30 BTC ransom (around $1.9 million), and published sample stolen data including passport scans.
