Lectron, the dominant maker of EV charging adapters, opened its contract manufacturer in southeast China for a tour. The highly automated assembly line produces printed circuit boards in seconds. Every Nexus Level 2 charger undergoes a leak test for IP67 certification, and each fastener is tightened by a preset torque wrench with data stored by serial number.
