Cybersecurity Startup Funding Holds Strong in 2026

Cybersecurity startups raised $10.6 billion globally in the first half of 2026. Q2 brought $4.4 billion, a 30% decline from the prior quarter, but included eight rounds of $100 million or more. Cyera raised $600 million at a $12 billion valuation. NinjaOne raised over $400 million at a $12.3 billion valuation. Motorola Solutions agreed to acquire D-Fend Solutions for $1.5 billion.
