Alembic Pharma gets USFDA nod for cancer drug

Alembic Pharmaceuticals received tentative USFDA approval for its generic Binimetinib tablets in 45mg strength. The drug is used in combination therapies for melanoma and lung cancer. Alembic previously received tentative approval for the 15mg strength and may qualify for marketing exclusivity.
