Uber and Wayve Launch London Robotaxi Service

Uber launched London's first commercial robotaxi service using Wayve's autonomous driving tech in Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles. Safety operators will initially remain in the driver's seat. The camera-and-radar system has no lidar and no geofence. Uber and Wayve plan Tokyo Nissan Leaf trips later this year.
