A Texas district court approved AT&T's $177 million settlement on Oct. 2 for two data breaches. Over 1.65 million Tier 1 claimants get $39-$40, while 687,000 Tier 2 claimants receive $7.50-$8.10. The deadline to opt in was Dec. 18 last year, meaning most customers missed the payout window.
