Man Convicted of GPS Stalking Pokémon Driver

Kent Kubasta, 72, of Wooster, Ohio, was convicted of illegally placing a GPS tracker on a delivery driver's van to monitor her Pokémon card deliveries. The driver found the device in June at a Walmart and called police. Kubasta pleaded no contest on August 31, was fined $500, given 12 months' probation with three months of GPS monitoring, and ordered to avoid contact with the victim.
