Waymo Hits 500,000 Autonomous Rides Per Week

Alphabet's Waymo surpassed 500,000 fully autonomous rides per week in April 2026, up from over 400,000 in February 2026. Waymo completed 15 million rides in 2025 across six major U.S. metro areas. In February 2026, Waymo raised $16 billion at a $126 billion valuation, nearly triple its $45 billion valuation in 2024. Goldman Sachs projects the global robotaxi market at nearly $415 billion by 2035.
