RTX 5090 Prebuilt Melts, Warranty Fight Ensues
11 min read
Anthony DeMarco's $5,245 Digital Storm Corsa, delivered May 2025 and unboxed August 2026, melted its 12VHPWR cable two weeks after use, damaging the PNY RTX 5090 and power supply. Digital Storm's one-year parts warranty had expired; PNY denied the RMA because Digital Storm used its own cables, not PNY's bundled adapter.
