Kokoro, an 82M-parameter model, generates realistic speech entirely on CPU across multiple languages including English, Mandarin, and Hindi. It offers around 50 voices and runs via a 5 GB Kokoro-FastAPI container. Performance benchmarks show generation times from 4.7 seconds on an Intel Core i7-4770K to 1.5 seconds on an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS.
