The Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully tested an indigenously-developed high-altitude airship on Tuesday, reaching 21 km altitude. The system stayed at 20 km for over 30 minutes before descending. Developed by ADRDE, the platform includes GPS receivers and onboard cameras for stratospheric aerial surveillance.
