New AI models now find previously unknown vulnerabilities at a scale no human team can match, with the median time from disclosure to first exploitation dropping to one day in 2026. Anthropic and partners found more than 10,000 new high- and critical-severity zero-days in the first month alone, while 80% of exploitations land on or before public disclosure.
