A team led by D-PHYS Professor Andreas Wallraff demonstrated quantum operations between superconducting logical qubits while correcting errors simultaneously. The method tackles decoherence, which causes bit flips and phase flips. The findings were published in Nature Physics and advance fault tolerant quantum computing.
