IonQ launches Superion 256 quantum computer

IonQ launched Superion 256, a 256-qubit quantum computer built for volume production using chips from SkyWater Technology. Orders are open, with first deliveries in 2027. The system uses Electronic Qubit Control from the Oxford Ionics acquisition, cutting design cycles from nine months to two.
