Apple Smartphone Chip Share Hits 21 Percent

Counterpoint Research data shows smartphone processor shipments fell 21 percent in the third quarter of 2026. Apple achieved a 21 percent market share with 4 point growth, almost catching up with Qualcomm. Samsung Semiconductor increased its share by two percentage points to 8 percent. Prices are expected to rise further in 2027.
