A massive chain-reaction crash involving 10 cars occurred on pit road at World Wide Technology Raceway during the Nu Way 225. The incident began when William Sawalich checked up, causing a pile-up that injured crew members Brad Donaghy, Bryan Backus, and Matt Wilps. The race was stopped for 7 minutes, 54 seconds. Jesse Love won the race, while Sheldon Creed took the point lead.
