SpaceX plans to build an eight-mile natural gas pipeline called Starpipe to fuel Starship launches at its Starbase facility. The pipeline, expected to enter service in January 2027, would allow SpaceX to process its own propellant. Starship uses about 630,000 gallons of liquid methane per launch.
