Microsoft Open-Sources Comic Chat After 30 Years

Microsoft open-sourced Comic Chat, a 1990s chat client that used comic-style avatars and speech bubbles. The code is now available on GitHub under the MIT license. The project, originally developed by Microsoft Research, was first released in 1996 and has been dormant for decades.
