Cloudflare deployed WAF rules for two high-severity WordPress vulnerabilities: an unauthenticated RCE in the REST API and an SQL injection. The rules protect all proxied customers on free and paid plans. WordPress released fixes in version 7.0.2 with backports to 6.9.5, 6.8.6, and 7.1 Beta 2. Automatic updates are being forced for affected sites.
