Apple Music AI labels become mandatory in 2026

Apple Music will require record labels and distributors to label AI-generated content later in 2026, making its optional Transparency Tags mandatory. The "Made With AI" label will signify when a material portion of a song is AI-generated. Apple previously said more than a third of Apple Music tracks are 100 percent AI.
