macOS 27 Drops Time Capsule Backup Support

Apple released macOS 27 Golden Gate on September 14, removing support for Apple Filing Protocol (AFP). This change prevents Macs running the new OS from using AirPort Time Capsule or AirPort Disk as a Time Machine backup destination. Time Machine continues to work with third-party network-attached storage devices that support the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol.
