Wasmtime Runtime Fixed for Two Critical Flaws

Maintainers released fixed versions of the Wasmtime runtime on October 19 and 20 to address two critical flaws. CVE-2026-115889 affects all architectures, while CVE-2026-115893 impacts only ARM64 systems. The bugs allow malicious modules to escape sandboxes, with fixes available in release lines 36.0.19, 48.0.7, and 49.0.4.
