I design with Claude more than Figma now

Claude enables a designer at Jane Street to build functional prototypes in code instead of Figma mockups. The prototype for JSQL input added LLM prompting, keyboard shortcuts, and dynamic confirmation messages. The feature was refined through 50+ iterations without engineering back-and-forth. Designers spent days testing the live feature rather than creating documentation or static designs. The workflow reduced effort from weeks to days by skipping intermediate artifacts.
