Sprout Pi upgrades aging iPods with modern tech
1 min read
Sprout Pi and Sprout Pico offer full motherboard replacements for 3rd- and 4th-generation iPods and iPod mini. The upgrades add Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB-C, and a microSD card slot without requiring soldering. Sprout Pi supports Spotify, Apple Music, and apps, though streaming may distract from the device's original purpose.
