Enterprise AI faces a runtime problem, not a model problem

VentureBeat's Pulse Research in Q1 2026 found 43% of enterprises said a central team owned AI governance, 23% could not agree on ownership, and 31% cited vendor opacity as the biggest obstacle. The research concludes the failure point is the runtime, not the model.
