Google and Constellation Energy announced a long-term agreement to add 890 megawatts of new nuclear generation to the PJM electricity grid through upgrades at 11 existing reactors in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The 20-year agreement will support more than $4 billion in upgrades intended to increase the output of existing plants, with the first additional electricity expected in 2028.
