Apple SpeechAnalyzer beats Whisper in benchmark

Apple's new SpeechAnalyzer API achieved a 2.12% word error rate on LibriSpeech clean speech, beating Whisper Small's accuracy while running three times faster. The legacy SFSpeechRecognizer scored 9.02% WER. All engines ran on-device on an Apple M2 Pro. The benchmark used identical production code paths.
