GuidePoint Security observed "Ransom Busters" posing as recovery firms during ransomware incidents. The group claimed to hack RaaS panels and offered decryption keys for $20,000 or $60,000. Researchers believe the same affiliates behind infections likely run the scam, not genuine rescuers.
