Pixel Search App Sideloads Onto Older Pixels

Google's new Pixel Search app, preinstalled on the Pixel 11, expands the app drawer search bar to surface photos and emails. Google says it has no plans to bring it to other phones, and a brief listing on Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 was unintended. Older Pixel phones can run it via sideloading, but only on Android 17 QPR2 Beta 5 or newer.
