A16z Launches Tuition-Free Founder School

Andreessen Horowitz launched the Horowitz Andreessen Academy, a tuition-free one-year program in San Francisco for about 50 high school graduates who have not attended college. The for-profit venture raised $42 million, offers mentors from Anduril, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Nvidia, OpenAI and Stripe, and starts Fall 2027. It is not accredited, so students earn no degree or transferable credits.
