Webb reveals a pink alien world wrapped in salt clouds

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope captured the spectrum of GJ 504 b, a planetary-mass companion 57 light-years away. The data reveals salt clouds in its atmosphere and a pink hue. The object, around 550 degrees Fahrenheit, may be a giant exoplanet or a brown dwarf.
