Bitcoin wallet maker Keystone destroyed 18,835 unsold devices and suspended shipping after an attacker obtained the factory key used to verify authenticity. The breach, detected October 20, also exposed 25,964 buyer records from 2024 to 2026. Keystone cut its data retention period from 180 days to 90 days and expects full erasure by November 3.
