Ukraine's Swarmer Builds AI Drone Swarms

Swarmer, a Ukrainian defense tech company, builds AI software that lets groups of drones coordinate with less human direction. CEO Serhii Kupriienko, formerly of Amazon's Ring, founded it in 2023. Drones caused under 10% of battlefield casualties in 2022, rising to as much as 80% by 2025. The software shares battlefield data and assigns tasks while humans set missions.
