India proposed extending tax breaks until 31 March 2041 for foreign firms supplying machinery to contract manufacturers, benefiting Apple's iPhone production. The exemption, introduced in February, previously ran until 2031. The draft bill also covers tablets, laptops, wearables, and data-centre leasing through 2047, pending parliamentary approval.
