Ken Griffin Gives $3 Billion to Carnegie Mellon

Ken Griffin announced a $3 billion gift to Carnegie Mellon University, the largest individual donation in American higher education history. Two billion dollars will fund CMU Miami, a new campus in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood that plans to enroll its first students in 2028. The campus will organize research around four grand challenges and connect discoveries to Florida industry.
