Apple Keyboard Gray List Blocks Political Phrases
6 min read
Researcher Derik Kauffman found Apple's iOS keyboard hides an undisclosed gray list of about 100,000 words and phrases from autocomplete and swipe-typing, including 'dictator Trump,' 'sleepy Joe' and 'Tibetan independence.' Apple did not comment on the list's size or composition, saying users can always type words manually and override suggestions.
