Sila raises $300M for battery factory expansion

Sila raised $300 million to expand its Moses Lake, Washington silicon anode plant, led by Atreides Management and Sutter Hill Ventures. The expansion targets tens of gigawatt-hours per year, enough for over 100,000 EVs. Sila's Titan Silicon anode stores up to 40% more energy than graphite and offers a domestic alternative to Chinese supply chains.
