AI patches fail 74% of time, 1Password study finds

1Password's Off-By-1-Labs found AI-generated patches failed 74% of the time across 6,080 attempts on six vulnerabilities. Only 26% were usable, with 53.9% introducing new bugs or failing entirely. Claude and OpenAI's Codex participated. The FLAWED tooling is released on GitHub.
