Crypto sector warns Canada's regulatory uncertainty stifles innovation

Industry leaders at the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto said a lack of regulatory clarity hampers domestic crypto innovation. Speakers from the Canadian Securities Exchange, Grinhaus Law Firm, Shakepay, and Tetra Digital Group argued Canada must implement regulations faster to stay competitive with the U.S. Stablecoin Act received royal assent in March but has not yet come into force.
