Goodyear replaced its aging airships by partnering with Germany's ZLT Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik, switching from blimps to semi-rigid zeppelins. The new zeppelins feature aluminum and carbon-fiber trusses, double the passenger capacity to 12, and are 246 feet long. Wingfoot Two reached 80 mph, 20 mph faster than the previous Spirit of Goodyear.
