Bengal CM Promises Laws Against Jihad, UCC in Six Months

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced his government plans to introduce stringent laws against 'love jihad' and 'land jihad' within six months. He also stated the state will implement a Uniform Civil Code, following models used in Uttarakhand and Gujarat, while earmarking Rs 1,000 crore for a religious tourism circuit.
