Australian Seabird Plastic Ingestion Record Broken Again

Researchers on Australia's Lord Howe Island found a fledgling seabird containing 894 pieces of plastic, setting a new record. The study, published in Earth's Future, shows the record for plastic in a single bird has been broken annually since 2023.
