L&T Semiconductor Technologies CEO Sandeep Kumar said at Semicon India 2026 that India needs hundreds of chip companies to build a globally competitive ecosystem. LTSCT unveiled 40 semiconductor products, including its first 1,200V SiC MOSFET platform and an India-designed BLDC motor controller.
