Last Moonshiner NASCAR Driver Raced Into 70s

Morgan Shepherd, dubbed the "Last of the Moonshiners," raced in NASCAR's Xfinity season in 2019 at age 77, finishing 62nd with 29 points. Shepherd started over 1,000 national-series events, beginning his Cup career in 1970, and stopped racing after a 2020 Parkinson's diagnosis.
