Phantom Twist drone spins to near invisibility

Northwestern researchers built the Phantom Twist drone, which spins up to 25 times per second to exploit human vision limits, making it roughly 10 times less visible than a standard quadcopter. The design uses counter-rotating parts and was debuted at the Robotics: Science and Systems conference in Sydney.
