Next BMW M3 Keeps Gas Engine and Manual Option

BMW M CEO Frank Van Meel confirmed the next-generation M3 will offer a twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six engine with mild hybrid tech, not a plug-in hybrid. A manual transmission remains a possibility. An electric variant will also be produced and is expected to be faster around a track.
