Volvo PHEVs Now Offer 70+ Miles Electric Range

Volvo has refreshed its XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrid SUVs for 2028, significantly boosting their all-electric driving range. The XC60 now offers 78 miles and the XC90 offers 73 miles on a full charge, surpassing the previous segment leader, the Mercedes GLC, which provides 54 miles. The increased range is due to a larger 38 kWh battery, up from about 15 kWh.
