Satellites Identify Top U.S. Methane Super-Emitters

A University of California report used Tanager-1 satellite data to identify 15 major methane sources in U.S. oil and gas basins supplying Europe. The top emitter is an Energy Transfer facility in Louisiana, releasing 1.72 tons of methane per hour.
